Read and React Offense

Oh my goodness, I finally found what I was looking for. 3 years after starting our basketball team, I came across an offense that is so unbelievable I couldn't believe my eyes. Finally an offense that has a couple of rules, that lead to constant movement, and is unscoutable. And though our team is only in 5th grade, we have been scouted before, believe it or not. http://www.betterbasketball.com/, is the website of this offense. At first I tried to get this offense off of youtube, but to no avail. So I approached our team and we all pitched in the $180 it took to buy this great DVD.
This is what is great about this offense. It comes in 20 levels, 1-20. Level one through 5 can be taught and learned effectively by 3rd graders. In those first 5 levels your team will learn 5 or 6 rules, that train them to read and react to the ball. This creates constant movement, cutters, spacing, and synergy. It truly is unbelievable. Now you might ask, why am I telling this to a possible opponent? I really don't know, but I believe that the more we all can learn, the better.
Now this offense can't be learned in one day. But the great news is, its the only offense you will need against any defense. Because of the movement it is perfect against a man defense, but it comes in just as handy against a zone. Players are hard to keep an eye on, and with its unpredictability, someone is always open. Your practice sessions will incorporate the read and react into almost all drills, skeleton offense, and live 3,4,or 5 on 5 drills. In warmups you will wow your opponent with your opening drills. They look so coordinated and smooth. Just today as we warmed up, the best team in our league was on their way home. But they couldn't leave the gym as they just stared at our warm up routine. And we did hear the words "wow this team is really good." It was all in the illusion.
Level one is learning to pass and cut, #2 post pass and cut, #3 dribble at, #4 circle movement dribble penetration, #5 basic post slides dribble penetration, #6 Baseline dribble penetration, #7 Pin and skip, #8 circle reverse, #9 post screens, #10 back screens, #11 multiple screens, #12 ball screens, #13 post pass and cut, #14 corners pass and cut, #15 power dribble, #16 advanced post slides, #17 transition offense, #18 press break, #19 full court trips, #20 flow. Just incredible. Each level works with the next, and each level is just another building block. By the time youre in High School you can master, as a team, all 20.
The basketball season will be coming up before you know it. At Fourth Quarter Sports we are working hard on adding many products, to enable you to be fully ready. http://www.fourthquartersports.com/products/basketball-reversible-jersey-youth-reversible-wicking-game-686.html is just one of our many jerseys. All can be fully customized with fourthquartersporst.com. Please stop by. And youre welcome for the great advice.

The Online Store Experience

Its been about a month now since my last post. The delay is due to the amount of time it takes to start a web business, and to add products. It is quite exciting though to have thousands of products at ones disposal. My website Fourthquatersports.com, uses ZenCart for the shopping cart. I was highly recommended this from my friend, but he is a cheap skate like myself. ZenCart is free, but requires much work, and a high learning curve. When a question arises though, the good news is most everything can be googled or investigated on youtube. There have been days that I've given up on Zen Cart and was seconds away from switching to Big Commerce. Big Commerce can cost a store anywhere from $39 to $179 a month, depending upon how many products you have. However, seeing that I haven't made any money yet, I keep coming back to ZenCart.
It takes me anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes to get just one product posted. Im up to 100 now, a huge milestone. Here are some products. http://fourthquartersports.com/gym-duffel-bags-c-19_38/gym-bagogio-big-dome-duffel-bag-p-17. I'm a huge fan of
Ogio bags
. They are heavy duty and last a long time. My boy keeps asking me "why do you like
OGIO duffle bags
so much? Lets move on, and get some other products up." Or check out some
hoodies and warmups
that we sell. http://fourthquartersports.com/hoodies-c-2_63_83/hoodie-heavyweight-color-block-sweatshirt-adult-and-youth-5250-p-97http://fourthquartersports.com/warmups-c-2_63_82/warmups-drive-pullover-3720-p-101

Having an online store is quite fun. At times I want to quit, do the the amount of time required, but I keep plugging away. Fortunately I have a job, so I don't have the stress of having to make money, but within the next year fourthquartersports should have 1500 products available ranging from
team uniforms, athletic warmups, and apparel, and all sorts of sporting and outdoor gear
. By the way the Lehi Heat is on a 9 game winning streak. Its all due to the offense called the
read and react
http://betterbasketball.com/read-react-offense/?gclid=CPiUnPL2-rYCFYZaMgodQ1UAjA. Check it out, its really hard to stop, and keeps the kids moving.
